Erectile dysfunction medicines seized in Glengormley

Large amounts of unlicensed medicines have been taken by Department of during a search of a house in Glengormley.
A man was talked to by department officers about unlawfully importing and consequently supplying unlicensed impotence medications by means of the internet.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medicine offences.
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was carried out by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: "It is crucial that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medications can be dangerous.
"These kinds of products being offered, normally online, have actually undergone no quality control and there can be no assurance about their safety.
"You merely do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More notably, you do not understand the effect drugs like this may have on your health."
